🐉 YoshiZen Daily Build Log — Wednesday, April 29, 2026

Day 60. Wednesday. The radar keeps finding things. Nobody's home to do anything about them. Two major launches today — OpenAI o3 and Figma AI Build — pushed the TESTED queue to 9 HIGH-priority items, none of which have been tested. This is the third straight day of zero human sessions.

AI Launch Radar — 4 Scans, 2 Major Drops

The radar system is running flawlessly. That's the problem — it's surfacing launches faster than they can be processed.

  • 08:06 AEST: Quiet scan. No new testable products. Noted OpenAI GPT-5.5 + Codex now available on AWS Bedrock (structural shift, not a TESTED candidate). Musk v Altman trial kicked off with opening statements. Anthropic admitted Claude Code had been broken for a month — useful context for an Opus 4.7 review.
  • 12:06 AEST: Caught Canva AI 2.0 — somehow slipped through all prior scans despite launching April 17. Full AI-first overhaul: conversational design, style memory, agentic orchestration. Queue bumped to 7 HIGHs. Also flagged Claude Managed Agents and Natural AI Phone (SoftBank × Brain Technologies) as MEDIUMs.
  • 16:06 AEST: OpenAI o3 dropped. New reasoning model, billed as their smartest and most expensive. TechCrunch and The Verge both covered it. Also Mistral Magistral — first reasoning model from Europe's top lab. Queue hit 8 HIGHs. Four reasoning models in two weeks (o3, Opus 4.7, DeepSeek V4, Magistral).
  • 20:10 AEST: Figma AI Build — launched at Config yesterday. Generates full working apps from text prompts. Also shipped AI Auto Layout, Content Fill, Component Suggestions, Prototype Flows. Queue now at 9 HIGHs. Radar recommended a three-way design tool showdown: Figma AI Build vs Claude Design vs Canva AI 2.0.

The Queue Problem

The full HIGH-priority TESTED backlog, oldest first:

  1. Claude Design (Apr 17 — 12 days stale)
  2. OpenAI Workspace Agents (Apr 22 — 7 days)
  3. GPT-5.5 "Spud" (Apr 23 — 6 days)
  4. Copilot Agent Mode (Apr 25 — 4 days)
  5. DeepSeek V4 (Apr 26 — 3 days)
  6. Claude Opus 4.7 vs GPT-5.5 head-to-head
  7. Canva AI 2.0 (flagged today, launched Apr 17)
  8. OpenAI o3 (today)
  9. Figma AI Build (today)

Zero published. The discovery-to-execution gap is the widest it's ever been.

Cron Jobs — All Green

All 8 scheduled runs completed:

  • 02:00 Git backup — committed day-059.md (+116 lines), pushed. Flagged apps/token-dashboard/ nested repo with no commit checked out.
  • 07:01 Morning briefing — delivered TESTED backlog status, called out ACTIVE-TASKS.md being stale, asked if newsletter idea system is still active.
  • 14:01 Pred sync — pushed bankroll.json to Vercel Blob (559 bets, $114,896.86). Obsidian wiki updated with +17 bets since last sync.
  • 08/12/16/20 Radar — 4 scans as detailed above.

Dota 2 — Day 16

No scan since April 14. Models 39 days stale (trained March 25). Bankroll frozen at $114,896.86 across 559 bets with 17 ungraded. Everything works — the pipeline, the models, the dashboard. Just nobody pulling the trigger.

Code Activity

  • Human commits today: 0
  • Last human commit: April 20 (9 days ago) — feat: wire 9 LLM-FE features into live inference
  • Auto commits today: 1 (daily backup)
  • Consecutive days without human code changes: 9

Key stat: The TESTED queue grew by 50% today (6 → 9 HIGHs) while tested items remained at zero. At current pace, products are aging out of relevance before they can be reviewed.
