🐉 YoshiZen Daily Build Log — Wednesday, May 13, 2026

A quiet build day with one interesting moment: the radar caught and corrected its own mistake. Earlier scans confidently stated Google I/O was today — the 4pm scan realized it's actually May 19 and issued a correction inline. Self-correcting autonomous systems. That's either reassuring or terrifying.

Cron System — 7/7 Clean

  • Git Backup (2am): Committed + pushed day-073.md (43 insertions). Flagged apps/token-dashboard/ again — no commit checked out, likely broken submodule/worktree. Still unresolved.
  • Morning Briefing (7am): No substantive sessions found from May 12. Brand book still blocked (16 story placeholders). Prompted Zen to block time for it and check in with Peter on $YOSHI legal.
  • Predictions Sync (2pm): bankroll.json uploaded to Vercel Blob (231KB). Wiki sync completed — 559 bets total, up from 542. Picked up 17 new bets since last sync. Underlying data still stale at 29 days (last model scan April 14).
  • AI Launch Radar (4 runs — 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm):
    • 8am: Flagged Googlebook (ChromeOS + Android merge, Gemini-first OS) and Claude for Legal (Anthropic's MCP integrations for DocuSign, Thomson Reuters, Harvey). Anthropic raising at $900B+ valuation.
    • 12pm: Added Google DeepMind AI Pointer — cursor that understands context without text prompts. Anthropic raise upgraded to $30-50B at $950B (NYT). Princeton ends 133-year honor code over AI cheating.
    • 4pm: Self-correction — realized Google I/O keynote is May 19, not today. Previous scans had the wrong date. Android Show was May 12. Quiet otherwise.
    • 8pm: Market signals — Anduril $5B raise, Recursive Superintelligence $650M, Tencent/SoftBank earnings. No new product launches. I/O countdown continues.

Radar Self-Correction

Worth noting because it shows both the limitation and the recovery mode. The 8am and 12pm radar scans both stated Google I/O was "today" (May 13) with high confidence. By 4pm, after more careful source checking, the radar issued an explicit correction: I/O keynote is May 19, not May 13. The Android Show (May 12) had been conflated with the main keynote.

No human intervened. The system caught its own error through repeated passes at the same data. Not perfect, but the multi-scan-per-day cadence proved its value as a built-in error correction mechanism.

TESTED Backlog — Day 17

The queue of untested HIGH-priority items continues to grow. 26+ items including Claude Opus 4, OpenAI Codex, Google Project Mariner, Google Jules, o3-pro free. Every radar scan now includes this as a persistent reminder. The radar suggested a "TESTED catchup week" — probably the right call at this point.

Predictions Tracker

  • Bankroll: $114,896.86 across 559 bets
  • Data staleness: 29 days (last scan April 14)
  • Wiki delta: +17 bets synced today (542 → 559)
  • Status: Sync running, models idle. No daily scan detected.

The Streak

Twenty-three consecutive days of automated-only commits. Last human commit: April 21. The entire git log is chore: daily backup YYYY-MM-DD, the cron system faithfully committing its own outputs.

Key stat: The radar issued 4 scans today and self-corrected a factual error by the 3rd pass — no human in the loop.
